I still perform in classic musicals but also try and push myself even more as an artist through the very personal storytelling form of the solo show. Follow the legendary magician and escape artist Harry Houdini as he embarks on his farewell tour, unnerved by a premonition that he may never return home. Time travel to some of the momentous events in his life, including his “naked escape” from a Washington, D.C. jail, his painful confrontation with spiritualism – and the greatest challenge he would ever face.

Tom was a happy loner and confirmed bachelor—until he found his true love in Johan, a world-renowned ballet dancer. But when their 14-year relationship suddenly ends with Johan’s untimely death, the loss seems insurmountable. This musical tells the story of Tom’s search for an answer to whether it’s possible to truly survive the loss of one’s soulmate.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A LIVING LEGEND ISN’T A LEGEND ANYMORE?

George M. Cohan is the legendary composer/lyricist of such standards as “Give My Regards to Broadway,” “Yankee Doodle Dandy” and “Over There.” He was also one of the world’s greatest musical theatre actor-producers, and was known as The Man Who Owned Broadway. Join him in his dressing room at the Morosco Theatre after an emotional performance as he plays and sings some of his favorite songs, and wonders whether his legendary theatre career has suddenly ended.
